Capacity Validation can be applied to your sessions to control attendance levels. With Capacity Validation turned on, users will be prevented from joining sessions after a certain capacity is met. Users will be prevented from adding sessions to their schedule in the schedule builder portal once capacity is met. You also have the ability to setup a wait-list for session types, and individual sessions.
Enabling Capacity Validation
1. Navigate to the admin module
2. Select Sessions
3. Select All Sessions
4. Select the Event Options tab
5. Edit details in the top-right corner
6. Scroll down until you see the Capacity Validation section. To set the capacity for all sessions in an event, select the Event option. You can also control it by Session Type, otherwise, you can change this setting to None.
Please note that Hubb manages session capacity validation through a combination of session types, and the room capacity of the location assigned to a session. For more information on session types please visit our article Adding a Session Type. For more information on locations and location capacity you can check out this article.
