At some point in your event cycle, you may need to send the same email to multiple users at once. Hubb's Custom Emails feature allows you to create customized email templates for any group of users.
Creating a Custom Email
1. From the Admin module, click on Manage Emails: | ![]() |
2. Click Custom Emails: | ![]() |
3. Navigate to the right-hand corner and click on Create New Email: | ![]() |
4. From here, use the editor to create and edit your custom email:

5. When you're done, click on Next to choose your email recipients:

6. Edit the recipients page:

7. Click on Next to review your email parameters and completed email before sending. This is where you can manually enter carbon copy and blind carbon copy recipients. Please Note: The CC and BCC fields are limited to 250 characters each. |

After reviewing your email click on Send Now to send your emails. You will receive an “Email sent successfully!” confirmation.
To start over from the beginning at any time, click Back to email dashboard.
Using Custom Filters with Custom Emails
If you're already using custom profile fields on a specific segment of your users, you can utilize them with your custom email templates. Before doing this, be sure to visit our help center article on Custom Profile Fields and create a new custom profile field.
1. From the Admin portal, click on Users | ![]() |
2. Click Profile Fields: | ![]() |
3. From here, scroll down to the Custom Fields section at the bottom of the page. Tick the Email Filter box next to the field you'd like to use as a custom email filter: | ![]() |
4. Now your custom field will be usable as a custom email filter.
Of course, don't forget to click Save when you're finished. |

Merge Fields
Included in our Custom Email feature are merge fields, which let you incorporate personalized data into the Custom Emails. The "merge fields" pull from the recipient's data available in the Hubb site, and embed that information into the body of the Custom Email.
This is a list of fields that you can pull into a Custom Email:

For example, if you choose {{FirstName}}, the first name of the user who is receiving this email will be pulled in, replacing the entire "merge field" with the actual name of the user.

This will become:
Hello Allie!
*Please note that these tokens are only for Custom Emails and will not work for standard Invite Emails.
