It is important that JavaScript is enabled in your browser in order for Event Cloud functionality to work as expected. We will be going over how to do this for several common web browsers including:
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari
Google Chrome
1. Click the 3 dots symbol near the top right of a Chrome window, then select Settings from the dropdown menu. | ![]() |
2. In settings, click Privacy and security from the left menu | ![]() |
3. Click Site Settings | ![]() |
4. Scroll down to the Content section and click JavaScript | ![]() |
5. Under Default Behavior click Sites can use JavaScript.
Alternatively, individual sites can be enabled instead of the default behavior by scrolling down to the Customized Behavior section and clicking Add next to "Allowed to use JavaScript" then adding individual site URL(s). |

|
2. Search for javascript.enabled in the search bar at the top. If it says true, then JavaScript is enabled. Otherwise, click the highlighted symbol in order to change it | ![]() |
Safari
1. When viewing Safari on a Mac device, click the Safari tab in the upper-left corner: | ![]() |
2. Then click the 'Preferences' in the drop-down:
|
|
3. Click the 'Security' Tab: | ![]() |
4. Make sure the box titled 'Web Content: Enable JavaScript' is checked ON: | ![]() |
